SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) is an Educational Organisation popularising academic competition and assisting development of competitive spirit among school children. It has been aiming at the overall excellence of students in the areas of Science, Mathematics, Computer Education, English, Social Studies, General Knowledge and professional courses. For achieving this, they have been conducting various competitive exams all over the schools in India. Many students are aspirants of excelling in these examinations and sharpening their knowledge. In such a scenario, it is only appropriate to have a club in Somerville International School aiming towards the same.
The SOF club aims at training the students for various Olympiad examinations in the form of practicing questionnaires, introducing them to high order thinking concepts and to give them persistent guidance for cracking the tough questions of Olympiads. The club aims to maximum encouragement for participation in these Olympiads and also to excel in them.
