The Western Choir Club is an audition based club. Also as the official School Choir, it is a synthesis of music education in practice and theory, self-expression and a variety of skills. Members hone their skills of playing an instrument or improving as a singer. Cognitive and social skills develop further as students learn teamwork and to coexist whilst playing the assigned voice or instrumental parts.
The Choir brings together a rich repertoire across traditional and contemporary music wherein students are exposed to an array of songs and hymns. The Choir Club members perform at several intra and inter-school events/competitions.
A sure confidence booster with stage presence and exposure, this is a space where students find their voice to facilitate their musical journey ahead.
